My recent purchases from MAC, Sephora & Luxola.

Hello guys! First of all, I wanna apologies for not blogging. I just collected my laptop from the repair centre few days back. Its really annoying when I really wanna blog something but then my laptop creating a problem which is really sucks. And secondly, I wanna wish Happy New Year to you all! Ok I know I'm late for wishing you guys but it still the beginning of January 2014 :P Better late than never right? :D *peace*

Here I am today going to blog about my recent purchased from MAC, Sephora & Luxola :)

So, let start with what I've ordered from Luxola.

 

I ordered mascara from Maybelline. And I need to restock my mascara since my previous mascara already almost finish.

Original price, $20.90 and I got it for $17.00. It was on sale which is a good deal for me.

And the next one is, SLEEK brow kit in 'Extra Dark'. 

It cost, $21.40

I really really wanted to try this brow kit. I heard lots of good reviews about it. Anyone tried this before? Let me know what do you think. I am glad to hear about it from you :)

This is my second purchased from this MAKEUP FOREVER concealer. I need to restock new one since the first one already finished! Argh! I am really down when my favorite concealer already finished. At first, I thought it is spoil, so when I twist and twist and twist the concealer and then I know it is really..... f i n i s h :( So, the next day, I purchased it from Sephora.

I can't remember how much it cost. Around $50+ but I got it for $46.80 after discount.

Next.. From MAC. So this is my second pro longwear concealer. I still have the previous one in the shade, NW35. A little bit dark on me. I didn't use it that much. Because, I got it in the wrong shade :\ And so, this time, I already tried it to double confirm the right shade and yeah, I got it in NW25.

It cost, $31.

Lastly.. Errrr.. Sorry for the dirty picture of this pump from MAC for only $9.

Too excited to try this pump until I forgot to take picture of it :P

 

Let me clear this thing out of my head. I wonder how many types of foundation pump did MAC selling at their MAC store/counter. I gotten myself this pump for my Estee Lauder double wear foundation. Everyone been telling here and there that they got their pump from MAC for their Estee Lauder foundation and etc. So when my turn to have it and try it on my Estee Lauder foundation, it didn't fit in at all and can't even press it the foundation out from the pump. Tsk! Is it just me or is it because I got it the wrong one? Hmm.

Review : MAC Studio Finish Concealer

 

Today another review about this MAC Studio Finish concealer. This is my 2nd studio finish concealer which I just restock it last month. The previous studio finish concealer can last me for 1 year. That's very long right? :p I've been using this concealer for 1 year plus already. So far, this is my favorite concealer!

 

 

The Description : ( found from here )

A lightweight, creamy, discreetly opaque concealer. Provides a smooth, long-wearing invisible coverage for all skin blemishes. Water-resistant, fragrance-free and non-acnegenic. This emollient-based, lightweight concealer is so concentrated that a tiny amount can provide opaque coverage of the skin's imperfections and discolourations. It effectively covers dark circles, blemishes, moles, tattoos and birthmarks. Enriched with antioxidants (derivatives of Vitamin A and Vitamin E), it also contains silica to help absorb the skin's oils. Concealer has broad spectrum SPF 35 protection and is available in a wide range of colours. It can be applied with a medium to firm fiber brush (try the 242 Shader Brush), a latex sponge, or the fingertips.

This time round, I choose 1 shade lighter than my skin tone

and it brighten up my under eye area. That's why I love it a lot!

The consistency is very thick and creamy texture. It gives the medium to full coverage. How I apply this concealer? I prefer using my fingertip than concealer brush. Cause, it is so easy to blend to the area that I need to conceal. This concealer can also cover up any spots or redness and etc. It also very buildable. Only a little part which I don't like is, after a few hours, it does settle into my fine lines. But its okay, I can still apply it again :D I always use this concealer after applying my foundation.

 

What I love about this concealer :

• Last long.
• Water-resistance
• Medium to full coverage
• Brighten up my under eye area
• Very small and cute. Perfect to keep in the makeup bag

What I don't quite like about this concealer :

• After a few hours, it does settle into the fine line

Review : MAC Select Moisturecover concealer

 

Hello everyone :) Finally I'm back with a new review for this MAC Select Moisturecover concealer. Is it good? Or is it bad? Just continue reading to find out :) *wink*

 

Last few weeks back, went to MAC at Isetan to buy my concealer. I'm always having fickle minded whenever I'm at MAC. LOL. As usual, I asked the MAC makeup artist which is the good for under eye area besides studio finish concealer & prolongwear concealer. And the MAC makeup artist show to me this select moisture cover concealer which MAC claim that this is a good concealer for fine line & dark eye circle. It gives you satin finish and can last for a very long hour. So, I give it a try on my hand and guess what, I start to like it :D Without any delay, I agree to buy this.

Not too creamy. Kinda thick texture to me.

To be honest, I really love the smooth feeling texture when I slowly dab or blend under my eye area. I swear I can't really see or feel like I'm wearing concealer. I've also try to apply 3 layers but still looking good. Gives you natural looking :) And also, I have the love and hate for this concealer :P

What I love about this :

• Very easy to blend.
• Matte finish
• Look so natural even if you apply 2 or 3 layers.
• Plastic tube! Don't have to worry if it accidently drop on the floor.
• Brighten up my under eye area.

What I don't quite like about this :

• Doesn't give you the good coverage that you wish for if you have really dark under eye area.
• After a few hours or more, I notice that I can see it does settle into my fine line. But it didn't appear that obvious ( Its happen to me. But doesn't mean its going to happen to you too. )

My Small MAC Haul

 

Hello everyone :) I'm so excited to share on my blog about my small MAC haul. Actually, this is my first haul on my blog :D

 

So, last Friday, went out with my lovely man of my life. ^^. Went to town area to purchased my MAC concealer which located at ISETAN. I know there's more than one MAC at town area. But, I just decided to go the one at ISETAN MAC counter. Okay, actually, in my mind, I only plan to buy just a concealer and not to buy any other stuffs. But, I end up getting more than one. LOL.

 

So here's the MAC products :)

 

Select Moisture cover concealer

 

My first time getting this Select Moisture cover concealer.

The MAC makeup artist recommend me this concealer for my under eye area.

I hope this concealer can really works well on me forever and always. LOL.

I haven't try this concealer for a very long hours yet. So, I will do a review about this on my blog soon :)

 

 

Studio Finish Concealer

 

My previous Studio Finish concealer already hit the pan. And finally I get to re-stock it. YAY!

Yes. I love it so much! I've been using this concealer for 1 year plus already.

 Good coverage! And I shall do a review about this someday :)

 

 

MAC FIX+

 

Wee~ Finally I put a tick on my wish list for this. Yes. I've been wanting to have it for so long.

REVIEW : Mac Pro Longwear Concealer

Hello bloggy! Finally, another review that i'm gonna share on my blog now. Wanna know more about this M.A.C Pro Longwear concealer? Just keep reading! *wink*

As usual, every 2 or 3 months went to MAC counter to restock my makeup stuffs. So, last month i went to MAC @ Isetan to buy Mac Studio Finish concealer that about to hit the pan. BUT! I didn't purchase it. I change my mind. Suddenly thoughts of trying another type of concealer. So, finally i decide to ask the MAC MUA which concealer got the good coverage and much more. And this MAC MUA chinese guy recommend me the Mac Pro Longwear concealer and even tested it out on my hand. And so i rub it gently and can feel the texture very smooth. I LIKE! 

I'm in the shade of NW35. 

Without any delay, i decided to purchase this Mac Pro Longwear concealer. It cost $30. After purchase it, suddenly this worried and regret feeling appear. Because, i'm not sure if this Mac Pro Longwear concealer does the great job on me or not. Who knows taking a picture of myself with flash and suddenly BAM! Look like panda eyes. BUT BUT BUT! I prove myself wrong! Wanna know why? Okay continue reading. Hehe.

The Description :

A lightweight fluid concealer that provides medium to full coverage with a comfortable, natural matte finish. Colour-true formula lasts up to 15 hours. Helps conceal and correct the look of under-eye circles, and discolorations. Comes in a clear glass vial with a matte black pump.

The Good & The Bad

Good

• Long-wearing
• Excellent coverage
• Oil free, Talc free and Pareben free 

Bad

• Glass bottle might be tricky for travelling. 
• Pump is hard to control for precise amounts.
• Its drying up quickly

To be honest, the Mac Pro Longwear concealer really does awesome job on my undereye area, fine line, and also it covers well on any blemishes. Yes! Awesome! Plus, the concealer feel so natural on your skin. Does not feel cakey, does not feel heavy coverage or even anything.

I suggest to use moisturizer first before applying the concealer. And also can be applying the concealer first before putting on your foundation.

The Mac Studio Finish is the creamy type.

And the Mac Pro Longwear concealer is the liquidy type.

And i like both of the concealer too! Good coverage!

Both concealer does a great job.
Will do a review on that Mac Studio Finish concealer someday :)

To those of you that still finding a good and not heavy coverage of concealer, i recommend you to this Mac Pro Longwear Concealer. Worth the money. It just $30. With many types of shades that available at the Mac counter.
